Working with a Mixer (What to expect)

The Process:

1. Initial Contact You fill out intake form. I review your project. We set up a call if it seems like a good fit.

2. Discovery Call 15-30 minutes. We discuss your vision, timeline, budget, process. I ask questions, you ask questions. We decide if we're aligned.

3. You Send Files Stems, references, notes. I review and confirm I have everything needed.

4. First Pass I mix the song based on your vision and my instincts. Usually takes 2-4 hours. I send you a rough mix.

5. Feedback Round You listen on multiple systems, take notes, send feedback. We discuss over email or call.

6. Revisions I make adjustments based on your feedback. Usually 1-2 revision rounds included, more if needed.

7. Final Delivery You approve final mix. I deliver files in your preferred format (WAV, MP3, stems if requested).

Timeline: Typically 1-2 weeks from receiving files to final delivery, depending on my schedule and revision rounds.

Communication: I prefer video/phone for big picture discussions, email for specific notes. No long text threads about the work.
